Apes Road
Visit an old Maori Pa site complete with blowholes and a lover’s leap. Visit an historic Church and admire the carvings on the Puketeraki Marae. Watch the boats come in at high tide. This is a great ride with awesome rural and sea views that suits any riding ability and fitness level. A great way to spend a Sunday arvo and maybe finish off with an ice cream from the local diary or a great coffee and yummy food from the friendly cafe next door.
